Allo Vélo 5th Anniversary

Congratulations to Allo Vélo's 5th birthday! Last thursday I had the pleasure of attending their anniversary event, hosted by  Cynthia Conciergerie, and had a fun evening! The set up was amazing, from decor and music to food and drinks! After living here for about 2 years, I can say cycling is definitely a huge part of montrealers' lifestyle; and Allo Vélo brings quality, unique, and imported bicycles to the community. On top of that, cafe crawling is also a big trend which Allo Vélo offers in their "retro, industrial style" coffee corner.

Here's a little background about Allo Vélo, courtesy of Cynthia Conciergerie :

"Lamar, owner of ALLO VÉLO, in charge of marketing and the e-commerce business has worked as a bike tour guide in Munich. By working in Germany he was able to complete his classes on the mechanics of bicycles and exploring the world of biking, “After a year of travelling, I came back to Montreal with a unique project in mind. The cycling culture is becoming more and more important and with so many coffee enthusiasts in the city, I came up with the idea to incorporate these two passions together, seemed like the perfect fit for the metropolis” mentions Lamar.

His mother Fiona, owner of the first ALLO VÉLO location, takes care of the administration and helps Lamar when necessary. Their mutual love for coffee and cycling has made this mother-son business association all the more natural."

If you're interested in discovering a new place for your cycling needs, or even check out a new coffee spot, definitely stop by Allo Vélo.
